It is crucial that we continue to educate and empower women and girls to find their own solutions to combat violence and abuse. Domestic and gender-based violence comes in many forms including physical, sexual, psychological, economical, and online violence. Since 2004 we have worked with more than 900 women-led community-based organisations to support their efforts in the community and advocate against gender-based violence. We also create networking and learning opportunities and during 2019, more than 3000 women attended our Trauma Volunteer Support Training sessions.
We urgently need your help to continue with our work. Together, we can take action and make a difference. Join us in fighting the war worth fighting. We rely on donations to continue our work. All donations make a difference, from as little as R20. Together we can we make the difference and not only give hope, but give GBV survivors a fighting chance.
The 1000 Women Trust issues Section 18A tax donor certificates for all donations and grants.
Please donate now to help 1000 Women Trust’s work in preventing and ending violence against women and girls. You can help to create a world free of violence against women and children.
